The Netherlands Business Council is looking for a motivated marketing – communicationintern to join our team in Dubai. Due to the current covid-19 situation this vacancy can also be done remotely.

The Netherlands Business Council

Established in 1997 by the Dutch Consulate and a group of prominent Dutch businessmen, the Netherlands Business Council, commonly known as NBC, aims to provide a platform for its members to network, encourage and promote business links with other likeminded businessmen, business councils in the GCC region and the Netherlands. The NBC undertakes a wide range of activities with the objective to enhance business prospects and expose the Dutch business community. We are a non-profit, local association under UAE law working under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber. The NBC has grown to roughly 200 entrepreneurs, managers, and executives in a large variety of industries. Many of whom regularly call on any of our 30 plus annual events. The NBC is partner of NLinBusiness and therefore part of a worldwide network.

The Netherlands Business Council is looking for a full-time intern for the period from September 2020 – February 2021 (possibilities to start before September).

 

Your role:

  • Expand the Dutch Business Community in the UAE
  • Support our communication efforts by coordinating our internal & external communications
  • Conduct Market Research and create relevant content to support our members
  • Produce press releases, newsletters, and social media content
  • Assist the Executive Director and the team in their daily activities
  • Provide operational support for, and during (monthly networking) events, and join in on the opportunity to connect with our members

 

What we expect from you:

  • Passionate attitude towards Marketing & Communications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ambitious and pro-active work ethic
  • Ability to work accurately and fluently in both Dutch & English
  • Affinity for networking and business management
  • Experience in Photoshop and content production would be a plus
